That’s step two of how we handle a collision, and it falls to us, not you. Tell us where the car sits and we send a truck; there’s no separate towing company to line up, and no hunting later for where your car ended up.

Free local towing is available to qualified customers based on location — just mention it when you open your case. Your vehicle comes straight to our shop and into the hands of our own technicians, rather than being dropped at an outside lot. Want to stay on the road while we work?   • Local towing at no charge for qualified customers. When we’re handling your collision repair, local towing is available to qualified customers based on location. Ask when you open your case and we’ll tell you where you stand before the truck rolls.
  • Simple to set up. Call, text, send a photo, or fill out the tow form — give us the vehicle and where it is, and we’ll confirm the details and an up-front ETA.
  • Most cars, SUVs and light trucks. We tow nearly every passenger vehicle. If you’re unsure yours fits, mention the make and model when you reach out and we’ll confirm before we dispatch.
  • Straight to our shop, no outside handoffs. Your vehicle is brought to T&C Body Shop on Johnstown Road and handed to the technicians who’ll actually do the work. It doesn’t sit at a third-party lot in between.

How quickly can you get a truck to me?

That comes down to where you are and how busy we are, and we’ll give you an up-front ETA when you call or submit the form rather than leave you guessing. Based in Columbus and serving central Ohio, we reach most of the area quickly — and if a faster option makes sense for your situation, we’ll tell you.

Is towing actually free?

Free local towing is available to qualified customers based on location when we’re handling your collision repair. Whether your tow qualifies turns on where the vehicle is and where it’s headed, so it’s best to ask when you open your case — we’ll tell you up front what applies to you before anything is dispatched. The tow form asks the questions that let us sort that out.

What kinds of vehicles can you tow?

Most cars, SUVs and light trucks, which covers essentially any passenger vehicle. If you’re not sure yours fits, mention the make and model when you call or in the form and we’ll confirm before we send a truck, so nothing surprises you when it arrives.

My car won’t drive after a crash — what do I do first?

Get yourself and your passengers somewhere safe and clear of traffic, and if anyone is hurt or the scene is dangerous, call 911 first. Once you’re safe, reach out to us — a call, a text, or a few photos is enough to start — and we’ll arrange the tow and take the vehicle side of it off your plate. Does my insurance cover towing?

Often it does — many policies cover towing after a collision, and some cover a breakdown too, depending on your coverage. We won’t name or speak for your insurer, but once your claim is open we can help make sure the tow is captured correctly as part of the repair, so it’s handled right rather than forgotten. Check your policy or ask us and we’ll point you the right way.

What areas do you serve?

We tow throughout central Ohio — Columbus, Bexley, Whitehall, Reynoldsburg, Gahanna, New Albany, Blacklick, Westerville, Worthington and the communities around them, largely across Franklin County. If you’re near the edges of that, reach out anyway; tell us where the car is and we’ll let you know what we can do.

Can I get into a rental while you have my car?

Yes. Rental vehicles are on hand, and staying mobile is built into how we handle the whole job rather than tacked on at the end. We keep it separate from the tow so you’re not left arranging a car on your own the day of an accident. The details are on our rentals page.

What happens once my car is towed in?

It arrives at our shop, our technicians look it over, and then we contact you with what they found and an up-front estimate before any work begins. From there we manage the claim and blueprint the repair to OEM standards — so the tow isn’t the end of the errand, it’s the start of us handling the whole thing.
