The claim is a second ordeal on top of the crash — estimate, adjuster, supplements. That’s the piece we carry for you.
A wreck hands you two jobs, not one. There’s fixing the car, and there’s the claim behind it — the adjuster, the estimate, the parts sign-offs, the supplements — and the claim tends to land while your patience is already spent. We take that second job on for you. We run the back-and-forth with your insurer so you’re not bargaining over a subject you never signed up to learn, and so what finally gets approved is the repair your vehicle genuinely needs.
Two facts are worth having up front. One: where your car gets fixed is your decision — Ohio law lets an insurer recommend a shop but not compel you to use it. Two: managing the claim isn’t about picking a fight with your insurer. It’s about handing them a thorough, fully documented, OEM-standard repair plan that’s tough to refuse — then keeping it in motion so the phone calls aren’t yours to make.

Start Your ClaimA collision claim comes around maybe once in several years, so from where you sit it can feel like a black box. Here’s what’s genuinely moving between the crash and the finished car:
The questions that come up most on the claims side of a repair. If yours isn’t here, call the shop at (614) 471-0505 — we’re glad to walk you through it.
No. Ohio lets an insurer suggest a shop, but who repairs your car is your choice. A recommended shop might be convenient, yet it’s a suggestion and not a rule — you can bring the car to us and we’ll work with your coverage exactly as any shop would. Feeling steered toward one particular repairer is a reason to slow down.
Yes — it’s most of what this is. With your claim open, we take the estimate, the supplements, the approvals and the parts discussion straight to your carrier, and we keep it from stalling on a missing photo or a call nobody returned. You hear plain-language updates; the paperwork stays with us.
A supplement is a documented add-on to the first estimate for damage that wasn’t visible up front. It’s routine — the opening estimate is written with the panels on, and taking them off regularly exposes bent structure, hurt sensors or cracked parts. We shoot photos, match each item to the maker’s procedure, and file it for your carrier’s approval before going further, so any change to the number has a reason you can see.
That’s precisely what supplements exist for. When the needed repair outruns the first estimate, we document the gap against the maker’s procedure and put the case to your carrier — a documented, procedure-based ask is far harder to refuse than a plain bigger figure. We’re after a complete, correct repair, not the cheapest one that squeaks past the estimate.
Mostly your policy language, which sets whether a repair leans on new manufacturer, aftermarket or recycled parts and shifts from one policy to the next. Where the maker’s procedure or a safety system demands a specific part, we document it and press for it with your carrier. Either way you’ll hear what’s proposed for your car and why, rather than having it settled off to the side.
Your policy sets your deductible, and it’s generally owed on a covered repair. In many cases we can help you save on your deductible for qualified insurance work — ask about your own situation when you open the case and we’ll tell you plainly what applies. We won’t promise anything your policy doesn’t allow.
When damage runs steep against the car’s value, a carrier may weigh repair against declaring a total loss. If yours is trending that way, we’ll lay out what the figures mean and what your choices are, with no pressure — pushing a repair that doesn’t add up gains us nothing. Valuation and settlement questions are best pinned down with your carrier or agent.
It turns on your deductible, the scale of the repair, and how a claim might touch your policy — and those belong to you and your agent, not to us. Our part is an up-front estimate for the repair, so you’ve got a real figure to set against your deductible before deciding. A lot of smaller cosmetic jobs get paid out of pocket for exactly that reason.
Request an appointment or send photos of the damage, and we’ll get you an estimate and open the case. If the car won’t drive, begin at our towing page; if you’re still in the shaken, what-now moment, our after an accident guide walks the whole sequence.
