About T&C Body Shop

The T&C Body Shop in Columbus, Ohio

Our Columbus shop at 2856 Johnstown Road, just off I-670 near John Glenn International Airport.

T&C Body Shop has been a trusted collision name in Columbus since 1997 — nearly three decades of putting cars back together for the people and businesses of central Ohio. Over that time the work has been steady and the standard hasn’t moved: skilled hands, current equipment, and a customer-first way of doing business that keeps drivers coming back and sending their neighbours.

Today T&C is part of the Alpha Automotive family, which adds a wider network, a nationwide parts-and-labor warranty and in-house rentals to the same shop drivers have counted on for years. What hasn’t changed is the integrity, care and expertise that built the name in the first place — and a belief worth stating plainly: a collision repair is a safety repair, and your family’s safety isn’t a line item to trim to hit a number.

What Stands Behind the Work

Established Since 1997

Nearly three decades repairing central Ohio’s vehicles from one Columbus location — a fixed address, a record you can check, and a shop that will still be here when you need it again.

A Certified Team

Our technicians and estimators are I-CAR, ASE, PPG and 3M certified, and we keep in-house OEM scan tools so safety systems are calibrated and verified on site. More on our standards.

Backed by Alpha & NAPA

As part of the Alpha Automotive family, qualifying repairs carry NAPA’s 24-month, 24,000-mile nationwide warranty, with a network of Alpha shops to draw on when a job calls for it, all through one team.

How We Work

  • Right, not just fast and cheap. The measurable things — structure straightened to spec, corrosion protection restored, calibrations verified — get done whether or not they show, because they’re what keeps the car safe.
  • The whole thing, handled. With us the tow, the rental, the insurance claim and the repair are a single process, not four errands you run — the full sequence is on what to do after an accident.
  • Built for fleets and businesses too. Alongside individual drivers, we handle commercial and fleet vehicles — collision and commercial finishing from one shop, kept consistent across the fleet. See fleet & commercial.
  • Your car, your choice of shop. An insurer can recommend a repairer, but the decision is yours — and we’ll work with whatever coverage you have.
  • Up-front, and documented. You get the number before work starts and a documented repair afterward — the kind of record that protects your vehicle’s value when you sell it. Every job comes back washed and vacuumed.

Quick Questions About Us

A few things people want to know before handing us their car. If yours isn’t here, call the shop at (614) 471-0505 — we’re glad to talk.

How long has T&C Body Shop been around?

Since 1997 — nearly three decades as a trusted collision shop in Columbus. We’ve since become part of the Alpha Automotive family, which brought a wider network, in-house rentals and a nationwide warranty, but the shop, the address and the standard drivers have relied on are the same.

What certifications does your team hold?

Our technicians and estimators are I-CAR, ASE, PPG and 3M certified. Put simply: I-CAR is the collision industry’s repair-training benchmark, ASE is broad automotive certification, and PPG and 3M are refinishing and materials specifically. We also keep in-house OEM scan tools, so calibrations are done and verified on site.

Are you part of a larger company?

Yes. T&C is part of the Alpha Automotive, LLC family, alongside the ConViniCars rental operation and a network of Alpha shops. That’s what lets us handle the tow, the rental, the claim and the repair as one process, and back qualifying repairs with NAPA’s nationwide warranty — while you still work with one local team, not a corporation.

What areas do you serve?

We’re at 2856 Johnstown Road, near John Glenn International Airport, and serve the central Ohio region, largely across Franklin County — Columbus, Bexley, Whitehall, Reynoldsburg, Gahanna, New Albany, Blacklick, Westerville, Worthington and the surrounding communities. If you’re near the edges of that, reach out anyway and we’ll let you know what we can do.

Do you work with fleets and businesses?

We do — fleets, businesses and individual drivers alike. Beyond collision, we handle commercial paint, lettering and fleet graphics from the same shop, kept consistent vehicle to vehicle, and we prioritize turnaround because a work vehicle off the road is a route not run. The details are on our fleet & commercial page.

What sets you apart from other body shops?

A long track record and a straight way of working. We’ve been at this in Columbus since 1997; we repair to the manufacturer’s standard and verify the safety systems rather than cutting to hit a price; we handle the whole ordeal — tow, rental, claim and repair — instead of leaving you to coordinate it; and we’re up front about what your vehicle needs and what it costs. Our reviews are the quickest way to judge whether that holds up.

Is your work warrantied?

Yes. Our work is warrantied, the parts we install carry their manufacturers’ warranties, and as part of an authorized NAPA facility network, qualifying repairs are covered by NAPA’s 24-month, 24,000-mile nationwide warranty — coverage that travels with the vehicle. Ask us about the specifics for your own repair when you visit.
